The Challenge
To accompany Xapo in their expansion beyond Bitcoin, creating a robust banking alternative that provides the same level of accessibility and security to all aspects of one's financial life.
To highlight the premise behind the brand's values — that no matter who we are or where we’re from, we all deserve the opportunity to have more options, more control, and more security in our financial lives.
What we did
We delivered a brand symbol that is warm and caring, inspired by transactions and commerce, yet also by safety and protection. It’s a symbol of global community and togetherness. As Xapo continues expanding its reach globally, the color palette reflects the diversity of the world while maintaining the warm, welcoming, and universal feel of the Caregiver.
The tone of voice is nurturing, protective, and approachable. Smart but not overly technical — simple and concise. Colorful humans are the focal point of illustrations, with monochrome line art backgrounds that tell figurative stories. The style features realistic human proportions and subtle hand-drawn-style facial features. Photos are people-focused with an emphasis on real, candid shots that display ethnic and cultural diversity
