We partnered with Underdog to create a brand based on the values of trust, simplicity, and freedom. This endeavor featured the creation of an entire brand framework — including visual and verbal identity elements.

The Challenge
With the gig economy growing at such an exponential rate, the industry is seeing a drastic widening in the gap between the needs of the businesses (hirer) and gig workers (gigees). The brand’s challenge was to bridge this gap while remaining true to the needs of both hirers and gigees.
What we did
We created a brand identity system featuring a logo that blends a precise, geometric, and balanced wordmark with a free-spirited and handcrafted symbol. This symbol also served as an inspiration for textured backgrounds and graphic elements that provide energy and emphasis to the brand's design and messaging. We also created a custom set of characters based on some of Jobility’s letterforms that represent the wide range of gigs and types of people engaging with the brand.
